A gently guided baby loss journal to honour your grief and find the place in your heart where you will hold and cherish your baby’s memory forever; created by Lisa Clarke with the wonderful support of bereavement midwife, Kelly Harris.

What’s inside the baby loss journal?

This is a gently guided grief journal for baby loss. Inside, you will find help with:

    • Exploring and releasing difficult emotions with baby loss journal prompts
    • Having an outlet to write letters to your baby and express the things you wish you could tell them
    • Identifying when extra support may be needed with wellness checks nestled throughout
    • Recording and cherishing special memories which in turn, creates a unique baby loss keepsake that is personal to you and your baby
    • Discovering your own personal self-care tools (we are all different), making them easier to reach for on the really bad days of baby loss grief
    • Finding hope for the future through baby loss grief affirmations
    • Managing conversations around baby loss with others
    • Relationships and coping with grieving in different ways following loss
    • A release of thoughts that feel just too difficult to speak aloud
    • Finding the national baby loss support charities

You will also find baby loss quotes and baby loss poems throughout.

Who is the baby loss journal for?

Anyone who has experienced baby loss and would like to keep a connection to their baby and explore their individual grief through writing.

The journal has not been designed to be specific to any trimester loss or type of baby loss. Whether you have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, TFMR, neonatal death or to SIDS, this journal can offer a safe place to explore your feelings and as a release.

Note that the journal doesn’t mention trying again (for those who can’t or choose not to following baby loss). This can still be written about of course if one of the prompts takes you in that direction personally, but it isn’t specifically mentioned.

Is this a good baby loss gift for parents?

Everyone grieves differently, so writing as a release won't be for everyone, but if you’re looking for an alternative to baby loss flowers and for a unique baby loss gift, this baby memorial grief journal may be a good option. The journal is not designed to be intrusive with set exercises, but is instead self-led meaning it can be used over years if that is what feels right to parents.

The journal has been carefully worded to ensure that it is a lovely baby loss gift for dads as well as mums.

Is this baby loss journal meant as an alternative to baby loss counselling?

Not at all. The gently guided baby loss grief journals are helpful in giving the space to honour a precious baby's life, in helping to become self-aware if extra support is needed and as an outlet for personal grief.
If anyone decides that they would like grief counselling, writing in the baby loss grief journal will likely help immensely with expressing and having a self-awareness of what they need the most help with.

How quickly can I expect to receive my baby loss grief journal after ordering?
